Privacy Policy

How jevailab collects, uses, and protects data for its AI image service

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how jevailab handles personal data when you visit jevailab.com, create an account, purchase credits, or use our AI image-generation tools (the "Service"). It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account data: name, email address, profile image, authentication identifiers, email-verification status, and account and security settings.
  • Creation data: text prompts, template selections, aspect ratio, generation settings, generated images, and related task status, credit quotes, and error records.
  • Billing data: plan, order and subscription identifiers, payment status, currency, amount, and the identifiers needed to reconcile a purchase. Payment-card details are handled by our payment provider rather than stored by jevailab.
  • Communications and marketing data: messages sent through our contact form, support correspondence, and your newsletter preferences.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, approximate region, error and security logs, and interaction events recorded by tools we have configured.
  • Local browser data: settings and draft information stored in your browser, described in our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use data

We use personal data to:

  • create and secure accounts and verify email addresses;
  • provide the image workspace, submit generation requests, display results, and maintain service records;
  • calculate and account for credits, process purchases, manage subscriptions, and prevent payment fraud;
  • review prompts and generated images for safety and policy compliance;
  • provide support, respond to questions, and honor privacy requests;
  • send service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications you have requested;
  • monitor reliability, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve the Service; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent where requested, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. AI and service providers

We use third-party artificial intelligence model providers to process prompts and other content you submit when you request a generation. We also use providers for cloud hosting and storage, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, content moderation, customer support, error monitoring, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms, depending on the service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your private prompts or generated images to advertise to you. Provider retention and model-training practices can vary; where a provider offers data controls relevant to our use, we configure them as appropriate for the Service.

5. Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure aggregate visits, page engagement, approximate country or region, traffic sources, and high-level actions such as registration, image creation, downloads, and checkout. We do not send prompts, uploaded or generated images, email addresses, account identifiers, payment identifiers, or payment details to Google Analytics. You can decline analytics when prompted or withdraw your choice by clearing jevailab site data in your browser.

6. Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, meet legal and accounting requirements, and prevent fraud. Creation inputs, results, and task records are retained for the period needed to provide the workspace, maintain service history, and support moderation and security. Retention may differ when content is stored locally in your browser, when a third-party provider processes it, or when law requires a longer period. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed, subject to backup and legal-retention schedules.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. These include access controls, encryption in transit, authentication, and service monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and sign-in methods, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update account information and newsletter preferences through available account controls. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, or to request a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, contact us at support@jevailab.com. We may need to verify your identity. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. International transfers

The Service and its providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual or other safeguards for international transfers. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, providers, or law. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required. The current version applies from its effective date.
